Policies and Shipping
All of our items are handmade to order with care.
Please allow up to 8 weeks after we receive your order, or after we receive your fabric in the case of keepsake items, to complete your order; up to 9 weeks if your order includes more than 4 items. Please include any requests or preferences on fabric usage in your order notes at time of payment or with your fabric. We do not refer to previous messages or emails while working on your order.
Once a keepsake item is ordered, we will email our mailing address and instructions within 24 hours. Please ship your recently laundered fabric to us in a timely manner. If we do not receive your fabric within 3 months of your order, we reserve the right to cancel your order. We do not return extra fabric from keepsake items unless specifically requested, in which case additional shipping charges may apply.
Please include your order number and any specific requests for the fabric not included in your order notes with your fabric. We do not refer back to messages when working on your order.

STAINS: Please send freshly laundered, stain- and damage-free fabric for your keepsake. We will try to avoid using stained parts of your fabric whenever possible, though with baby clothes we generally cannot avoid using any part of the clothing. Stains can become more darker and more pronounced when we prepare your fabric for sewing and will be noticeable on the completed keepsake.

Payment must be made in full before we can begin making your order. We accept Paypal, credit cards, Google Pay and Apple Pay through Shopify's secure payment processor.
Nestling Kids Keepsakes is located in a home with a cozy wood stove and two curious cats. Nestling Kids Keepsakes items are meant for display purposes only.
We offer FREE SHIPPING for orders shipped to customers within Canada and the US; shipping rates for all other regions are calculated in the shopping cart. We ship to Canada, the United States, Europe and Australia. If you live in the South Okanagan region, we offer order pick up in Oliver and Penticton BC - please contact us before ordering for local pick up specials. Local orders must be picked up within a week of completion.
We ship on Tuesdays and Fridays each week. All items are shipped by Canada Post, USPS or UPS from Oliver, BC, Canada; Toronto, ON, Canada; or Blaine, WA, USA with tracking and insurance. We cannot be responsible for items while they are in the possession of Canada Post, USPS or courier company, and we cannot guarantee their delivery times. The customer is responsible for all customs charges, brokerage, duty or VAT charges for international orders.
Tracking and insurance are included for all purchases. In the event of loss, theft or damage while in transit, the customer must contact us within 48 hours of the package being marked as delivered. We can replace items at our discretion under certain circumstances of defect or damage. In case of damage incurred during shipping, please take photos immediately of all damage of the item, as well as the packaging from all angles and email them to firstname.lastname@example.org. We will work with you and the shipping company to come to a resolution.
Please double check your mailing address before completing your order. Should your order be returned due to an incorrect or insufficient address, you will be invoiced for the return shipping fee imposed by Canada Post/USPS + the new shipping fee + $1 in order to resend your order to the correct address.
REFUNDS, RETURNS, CANCELLATIONS
All sales are final, so please ask questions before buying. Due to the customized nature of all Nestling Kids Keepsakes items, returns will not be accepted. We can replace items at our discretion under certain circumstances of defect or damage - please see the shipping policy above for details.
Gift cards do not have an expiry date and are not refundable under any circumstance.
